Project Homeless Connect - Bakersfield, held April 21, 2012, was a great success!
Beautiful warm weather, aggressive get-the-word-out and pre-registration campaigns, and thorough planning all helped to draw hundreds of homeless.
Host Bakersfield Rescue Mission's chapel became a distribution center.
Mountains of clothing were donated by our generous community. The four-footed friends of the homeless were also welcome, watered and fed.
